Delete Your Account
This page explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data when you do. It applies to both of our mobile apps — HOLA Lawn (the customer app) and HOLA Pros (the contractor app) — developed by Houston's Own Lawn App, LLC.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly from within the app at any time. No phone call or email is required.
- Open the HOLA app (HOLA Lawn or HOLA Pros) and sign in.
- Go to Profile (or Settings).
- Tap Delete account.
- Review the on-screen summary, then confirm the deletion.
Once you confirm, your account is closed and the data described below is deleted or anonymized. This action cannot be undone.
Can't Access the App?
If you can no longer sign in or otherwise cannot complete the steps above, you can request account deletion by contacting us at support@gethola.com and providing the phone number or email address associated with your account. We may verify your identity before processing the request.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, we delete or permanently anonymize the personal information that identifies you, including:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your saved service addresses
- Your gate codes and property access details
- Your profile photo
- Your saved payment methods
What Data Is Retained
Some records are kept in a de-identified form (stripped of the personal identifiers above) for limited, legally permitted purposes such as tax and financial compliance, fraud prevention, ban enforcement, security, and resolving disputes. These include:
- Booking and service history
- Payment and payout history
- Dispute and resolution records
We retain these de-identified records for a minimum of approximately 30 days after account deletion, and longer where required by law (for example, transaction records kept for tax and accounting purposes). Retained records are no longer linked to your identity. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
